The Event of the Cow in Surah Al-Baqarah: A Reflection on Divine Attributes

Surah Al-Baqarah, the second chapter of the Quran, is rich with stories and lessons that emphasize the divine attributes of Allah. One such event is the story of the cow, which not only highlights the uniqueness and oneness of Allah but also demonstrates His subtle care, wisdom, and ability to provide precise guidance.  The Uniqueness and Oneness of Allah In Surah Al-Baqarah, verses 67-71, we encounter the story of the cow. The Israelites were instructed by Allah, through Prophet Musa (Moses), to sacrifice a specific cow as part of a divine command. This event emphasizes the uniqueness and oneness of Allah (Tawhid) as it showcases His singular authority and wisdom.
