Treasure [Surah Al-Fatiha]

Assalam-O-Alikum (May Peace and Blessings be Upon You)

Quran is a great word and it starts with
"In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful." [1:1]

Here Allah Almighty is advising us to take His name before starting every good action because it is He who has given us the power to do that work. He is also informing us that His Mercy is greater than His Anger. Subhan Allah!

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds [1:2]

Allah tells us that He alone is the Creator of the Heavens and Earth. He is Well Informed. He is a Treasure worth being known. He is worth Praising. There are communities that we are aware of and those we are not. He Knows Everything.

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, [1:3]

He is very Merciful and Peace-loving. He is The Peace Giver.

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. [1:4]

He is Just. He has informed us that the Day of Judgment will surely come. Here Allah Almighty is also telling us to be just in our daily affairs because we will be answerable to Him. It is one of the themes of The Quran.

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.[1:5]

He is Perfect, All-Knowing and Understanding. He alone is competent to be worshiped and asked for help. It is He who can understand you well and do justice to you. He wants us to be His ambassadors on the Earth. He mentions about stories of Prophets who were on the straight path and were blessed. Lessons and reminders in it for everyone.

Guide us to the straight path - The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. [1:6-7]

It is He who is the provider of knowledge and clearing of doubts so that we may opt right path and succeed. He is our true Well-wisher. Here Allah is teaching us how to pray and ask for His Guidance. He is informing us of the power of the Dua, that it changes the conditions of hearts and decree. He is telling us to make good and complete pray/dua. He is informing us that He will give us examples, stories with lessons, so that we may understand. Here we also learn one thing that Allah Almighty loves His good people who remember Him and He also remembers them and increases their status. He mentions them in The Quran.
