While the Quran, revealed over 1400 years ago, doesn't explicitly mention modern technologies, it provides timeless principles and wisdom that can be related to various aspects of IT. This blog will explore insights from Para #2 and Para #8 of the Quran and relate them to the field of Information Technology.

Para #2: Surah Al-Baqarah

Knowledge and Guidance

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:185) states, "The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and criterion." This verse highlights the importance of guidance and knowledge. In IT, knowledge and proper guidance are fundamental. Continuous learning and staying updated with technological advancements are crucial for IT professionals.

Additionally, Surah Al-Baqarah (2:30-34) discusses the creation of Adam and the knowledge imparted to him by Allah. Adam's ability to name things signifies the importance of knowledge and the ability to manage and categorize information, which is a fundamental aspect of IT. In modern terms, this can be compared to the organization of data and the development of databases.

> "And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels and said: 'Tell Me the names of these if you are truthful.' Surah Al-Baqarah (2:283) advises, "And if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then a security deposit should be taken..." He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." (Quran 2:255)

Para #8: Surah Al-An'am and Surah Al-A'raf
